The show will go on

You're in control. The world plucked from fate by you. And nothing can hurt you. You. Are. God. But then you tear off all that is sucking your life away and you find you can't stand. The saying "let not the left hand know what the right is doing" sometimes happens without our knowing. While you were behind the curtain, pulling strings on those trying to hurt you, you've let them draw the audience instead of you. Now that they're gone, so is the money that keeps your play in production. 

But you know this. That's why you have back up actors so you can keep afloat while looking for better actors. But they're all busy. You are left alone making slapstick comedy as people start to leave. You can keep it running. But it's hard. Your crowd is smaller and the world is pushing you to move to a smaller establishment. All those empty seats start to speak louder than the cheers of your dedicated friends and family. 

But the show must go on
